Responsibilities :- API Definition and integration of user-facing elements developed by frontend developers with server-side logic.- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.- Design and implementation of lowlatency, high availability, and performant applications.- Implementation of security and data protection.- Integration with external data storage solutions (SQL and NoSQL databases).- Communicating with external web services. Skills and qualifications :- Strong proficiency with JavaScript.- Knowledge of Node JS and Express framework.- Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.- Familiarity with serverless computing and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Docker).- Good understanding of server-side templating using Jade.- Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less).- Basic understanding of frontend technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3.- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.- Proficient understanding of Git as a source code repository.
