Position Overview: The Sales Executive in the bakery industry and ice cream raw materials is responsible for driving sales and promoting the company's products within the target market. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. The Sales Executive should have a strong understanding of the bakery and ice cream industries, including knowledge of raw materials and their applications. Key Responsibilities:  Sales and Business Development: Identifying potential customers and generating new leads within the bakery and ice cream industries. Will have to Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business. Present product offerings, conduct product demonstrations, and provide technical assistance to customers. Will Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions to meet customer requirements.  Market Research and Analysis: Will have to Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions and Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, potential clients, and emerging market segments. Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance sales performance.  Identifying potential clients: Your primary focus will be on identifying and targeting potential clients in the bakery and ice cream manufacturing industries. You will need to research the market to find new leads and develop strategies for reaching out to potential clients.  Customer Relationship Management: Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing their queries, concerns, and providing exceptional customer service. Understand customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations to meet their requirements. Conduct regular customer visits, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events to build relationships and expand the customer base.  Product Knowledge and Training: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's product portfolio, including bakery and ice cream raw materials. Stay updated on industry trends, new product launches, and technological advancements related to bakery and ice cream production. Conduct product training sessions for clients, distributors, and internal sales teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the product features and benefits.  Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Will have to Prepare sales reports, including field sales location sharing, daily sales planning updates, market strategy, Providing regular updates to the sales manager regarding sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback on any trials or customer’s demonstration. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.  Collaborating with other departments: You will need to work closely with other departments within your company, such as marketing and product development, to ensure that you are meeting the needs of your clients and keeping up with industry trends. You may also need to coordinate with logistics and supply chain management to ensure timely delivery of products to clients.  Additional Responsibilities:  Collection work: You will also be responsible for collecting payments from clients for the products sold. This involves keeping track of client accounts, issuing invoices and payment reminders, and ensuring timely payment.  Traveling: As part of your job responsibilities, you may need to travel to nearby cities to meet with clients, attend trade shows or conferences, or conduct market research. This may involve spending up to 10 days per month on the road.  Reporting: You will be required to provide regular reports to management on your sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback. This may include creating sales reports, analysing market data, and making recommendations for improvements to sales strategies.  Customer service: In addition to sales and logistics-related tasks, you will also need to provide excellent customer service to clients. This involves addressing any issues or concerns they may have, responding to inquiries promptly, and ensuring that they are satisfied with the products and services provided.  Industrial trials: You will need to work with our in-house chef to align industrial trials with potential clients. This involves coordinating and scheduling the trials, and making sure that the clients understand the benefits of our products.  Sample follow-up: You will be responsible for making sure that clients receive the samples they y have requested, and following up with them to gather feedback once the sample has been submitted.
