Senior QA Engineer

Description:
Job Responsibilities: .Coordinate the manual testing efforts for software projects, including test planning, test case design, and test execution. .Collaborate with the Developers/BA/SA and business stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test strategies. .Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of software functionality. .Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure the software meets quality standards. .Mentor and guide junior testers, providing support, training, and constructive feedback to enhance their skills and performance. .Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work closely with the development team to facilitate prompt resolution. .Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and improve test processes, methodologies, and tools. .Develop and maintain test data and test environments to support testing activities. .Generate detailed test reports, including defect metrics, test coverage, and recommendations for improvements. .Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing, and proactively introduce innovative testing techniques and tools. Required Skill Set: .Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. .Proficiency in Android/iOS Mobile Application Testing. .Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross .functional teams and stakeholders. .Proven experience as a Manual Tester, with a strong track record of successfully delivering high .quality software products. .Good understanding of software testing methodologies (Agile), test case design, and test execution. .Extensive experience in functional, integration, regression, API testing. .Experience in Automation Testing using Appium is a plus. .Experience in Performance testing is a plus. .Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. .Proficiency in using test management tools, bug tracking systems, and test automation tools. .ISTQB certification or any relevant software testing certifications are plus
