Oracle Apps DBA - Architect – Full Time Centroid is seeking a Oracle Apps DBA- Architect with experience supporting large complex client environments as part of our Cloud Delivery Team with a focus on performance tuning, scripting and automation. As a senior technical member of the Managed Services team, you will take a lead role in troubleshooting and resolving the most complex issues for our customers’ mission-critical production environments as well as all aspects of administration for non-production environments. You will be expected to perform multiple functions, including the root cause analysis and assisting users with issues beyond what front-line support are able to resolve. Required Skillset: Minimum of 15 -20 years as an Oracle DBA with production support experience, including Oracle 10g/11g/12c/19c. 15 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA with Oracle EBS 11.5.10 and R12.x Strong understanding of Oracle RDBMS architecture Hands-on experience with implementation, upgrade, and tuning of: Large Oracle EBS environments, Oracle EBS in a production environment; throughout all stages of the lifecycle Enterprise Manager Grid Control 13c Backup and recovery concepts, including RMAN Oracle DB 12c/19c, Oracle RAC 12c/19c Patch assessment and application in an EBS environment with activation of different modules Performance Tuning (ie. Sql Queries), EBS Application Tier (Forms, Reports, Weblogic) Performance tuning OS (memory settings, disks io, cpu utilization) Must have strong Linux scripting (Python, bash scripting) Strong verbal, written, organizational and documentation skills. Proven experience with multiple operating systems: Linux/Unix/Solaris/Windows Ability to provide accurate and realistic effort estimates, commit and deliver accordingly Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional non-business hours (evenings and weekends) flexibility and able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects. Ability to work productively in a team environment and participate as a positive and cooperative team member. MS in CS or BS/ BA in Computer Science with five years of relevant work experience. Candidates should be flexible for Night shifts/Weekend Shifts Preferred Skills: Experience managing environments Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Experience managing environments with other Oracle Products SOA, OBIEE, GTM, Agile/PLM, ECM/UCM/WebCenter R12.2 Upgrade Experience on multiple projects Experienced with Oracle Identity Management product suite Immediate Joiners preferred Education: Graduate or Equivalent degree Powered by JazzHR
