Sr. Coatings Engineer Location: Chennai About the Role We are looking for a Senior Coatings Engineer to join our talented and diverse technical team, based in Chennai . This position will own the application of actnano’s innovative waterproofing solutions for customers in India. This position will also require developing an expertise in our coating technologies and honing processes for optimal application of our coatings to a variety of printed circuit boards. As a Senior Coatings Engineer, you will: Lead technical support for our customers by working closely with our sales and field-deployed technical service team. Be a trusted technical expert to our customers and establish and maintain positive relationships with key technical contacts and decision makers at our customers Ensure the on-time completion of customer activities, including leading technical calls with customers, managing customer samples, and experimental support for the customer opportunities they own Understand and implement coating application approaches on a variety of customer samples in customers’ production lines with our field-deployed technical team Lead development of novel application techniques and new test methodologies to address market and customer requirements Communicate technical advances internally with other members of the company and be able to engage customers on the details of our products Establish relationships with vendors to expand actnano capabilities and address customer needs Participate in occasional international and domestic business travel (15-20%) Who We NeedOur ideal Senior Coatings Engineer will possess the following experience and skills: M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Electrical Engineering Background or experience in the following areas is strongly preferred: PCB components and failure modes, layout considerations, PCBA manufacturing signal integrity for high frequency applications Experience with the application of coatings and manufacturing processes is preferred Experience with Technical Project Management is a plus Powered by JazzHR
