We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer who will participate in developing and architecting our new digital product. You will possess strong experience working on cutting-edge technology for new product development in fast paced environments. We are looking for an engineer, who is excited about coding, search, data analysis, and solving complex problems and enjoys building highly scalable and performant distributed systems leveraging cloud computing platforms. Key Duties ● Specialist understanding and experience of the entire web experience lifecycle include planning, analysis, design, coding, data management, systems, user testing, problem debugging, and resolution. ● Design and develop software and algorithms to solve business problems and challenges while ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, and security. ● Contribute in product technology & architecture discussions, bring fresh ideas and lead all backend development initiatives. ● Ability to work independently, self-manage time and concurrent responsibilities including collaborating well in a team environment. ● Work in cross-functional teams and own end to end development process from inception through testing to delivery. ● Develop robust back-end systems and secure REST APIs. ● Analyze feature requests and then plan & implement them in a test-driven way. ● Work in an Agile environment with Github code repos to create and review merge requests to achieve the best possible solution. ● Interact with different stakeholders for requirements elicitation. ● Research and apply new technologies and best practices. ● Design and create secure & scalable APIs for internal and public consumption. ● Provide task estimations and deliver quality code on time. ● Build components for a robust message-oriented middleware. What we’re looking for: ● 6+ Years of industry experience followed by a principal/architect level role. ● 4+ years of strong recent practical experience in developing backend applications using Node js, Nest JS & Typescript (with at least 3+ years in TypeScript and 2+ years in Nest JS) ● Excellent knowledge of web standards and technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP) ● Working knowledge of relational databases, object-oriented design principles and design patterns, with solid experience in data modeling. (Postgres/Mysql, and Redis) ● Solid foundation in software engineering process & best practices (unit testing, build automation, continuous integration) ● Hands-on software development capabilities with medium or large projects ● Strong experience setting up and working with CI/CD & AWS/Google Cloud stack ● Experience of working with React JS and Next JS to build and integrate frontend components with the backend ● Enjoys technical challenges and is capable of proposing and evaluating a solution against requirements, demonstrates a strong customer focus. ● Committed to the highest levels of quality, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. ● Good written and verbal communication skills in English ● Experience in data structure and data modeling skills and algorithms ● Microservices and Service-oriented architecture experience will be an advantage ● Solid hands-on experience in Distributed systems and integrations Rest APIs is a must.
