Position Summary The Polyurethane Technician should have the capability to understand Design drawings, Knowledge of chemicals involved in molding polyurethane and plan effectively to deliver polyurethane on time to meet target dates. General responsibilities Comply always and fully with LIN SCAN IT requirements Be quality conscious (dynamic approach towards quality improvement and aim at getting things right first time) Maintain confidentiality, integrity and safeguard LIN SCAN trade secrets Respect and support fellow employees at all times Respond to changes positively (technical advancements as well as organizational adaptations) Act in such a manner that LIN SCAN’s reputation is highly respected Be results-oriented; alert others timely when a task may not produce the required result for LIN SCAN’s final product Follow LIN SCAN’s Process Flow Charts and interact with other departments when required Assure timely and accurate reporting to LIN SCAN TM Department Job Functions, Responsibilities & Authorities Producing and repairing Polyurethane using different molds. Adequate knowledge of Auto Cad to draw templates. Testing tools, dies, jigs or Molds to ensure proper operation. Setting up and operates various casting machines to cast polyurethane products. Position, secure, measure, and work polyurethane stock or castings to lay out for machining. Lay outs, shapes and assembles patterns of plastic and other materials from blueprints, models or templates. Follow all the safety rules & regulations. To execute all other tasks as requested by PU Supervisor or TM/Production Director within the assigned job role. Knowledge, skills & abilities required: DAE in Chemical (Preferred) or other disciplines like Electronics/mechanical having related industry experience. At least 3 years of experience in production environment Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Fluency in the English language, working knowledge of other languages is a plus Accountability Punch daily attendance Keeps the PU Stock up to date Handles the Molds Carefully and arrange them accordingly after usage in the Racks.
