Requirements 3+ Years of Full-time software engineering experience Skilled in creating scalable backend platforms, utilising a well-balanced combination of frameworks, design patterns, and optimised data structures. Having a keen eye for quality recognises an ideal test case and loves to experiment to find effective ways to test your code. Experience working with orchestration engines such as Temporal, and data-integration platforms such as Airbyte. Should have a strong proficiency in Python, with a particular emphasis on effectively handling data using data frames in Python. Has a history of working with and actively developing distributed systems. Embraces the role of mentoring fellow developers and coaching them to collectively work towards improvement. Considers Functional Requirements as one facet and aims to create products/platforms that are a delight to work with operationally. Thorough knowledge of SDLC. Having proficiency in any language like Go, NodeJS, or Rust would set you apart. Expertise in any RDBMS or NoSQL databases. Understanding of messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka and protocols. Understand CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to cloud providers like AWS, GCP or Azure. Seen extensive scale and understands the evolutionary technical challenges.
