The Role This highly SAP Technical Manager will lead the development and integration of cutting-edge mobile applications and SaaS solutions within the enterprise ecosystem, particularly interfacing with SAP systems. This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise, leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and project management acumen. Technical Expertise: Utilize a strong background in software engineering to guide mobile app development for iOS/Android platforms, SaaS applications, and their integration with SAP enterprise systems. Apply familiarity with modern development frameworks and technologies pertinent to mobile app development (e.g., Swift, Kotlin) and SAP integration (e.g., SAP NetWeaver, SAP Cloud Platform Integration). Demonstrate proficiency with AWS services Analyze and design RESTful APIs following best practices to ensure scalability and maintainability. Lead CI/CD initiatives and cultivate mature DevOps practices within the team. Leadership and Management Skills: Showcase a proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams, preferably in a mobile, SaaS environment. Inspire, mentor, and empower team members, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work culture. Set clear goals and objectives, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage project timelines and deliverables efficiently. Employ strong communication and interpersonal skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and foster alignment across different teams. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Abilities: Display excellent problem-solving skills, analyzing complex technical challenges and formulating innovative solutions. Exhibit sound judgment and decision-making capabilities, especially in balancing technical considerations with business needs and resource limitations. Proactively identify and mitigate risks, anticipating potential issues and taking action to ensure project success. Project Management and Agile Methodologies: Proficient in project management methodologies, with a strong emphasis on Agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban. Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, seeking feedback, and promoting iterative processes to enhance team performance and product quality. What You Bring to the Team: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred. 12-15 years of experience in software development with some part in SaaS/Product Development with integrations to SAP Candidates must have participated in at least 2-3 full product development lifecycle phases over a period of 2-3 years for large-scale products. They should have a comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience with the full spectrum of product development including customer adoption, feedback collection, product improvement iterations, bug tracking and fixing, and strategic product roadmap planning. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in leading and navigating through the product maturation process, leveraging customer and user feedback to refine and Extensive experience in software engineering and development, with a focus on mobile and SaaS applications roll-out. Prior experience in a managerial role within a technical team. Certifications in Agile methodologies, project management, and AWS are a plus.
