Location: Permanent Remote Work from Home in India Experience:4+ Shift Timings: 12pm - 9:30pm (Summer), 1pm - 10:30pm (Winter) Role and responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain our web applications using Ruby on Rails. Work with other team members to ensure that our applications are high quality, secure, and scalable. Stay up-to-date on the latest Ruby and Rails technologies. Troubleshoot and debug issues. Participate in code reviews. Document code. Work with our product team to gather requirements and design new features. Experience with web development best practices. Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Kane Group web applications. Required skills and experience 4+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails. Strong understanding of web development best practices. Experience with relational databases. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Hotwire. Experience with testing frameworks such as RSpec and Capybara. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines. Competency using Git. Desired skills and experience Deep expertise in Ruby and the Rails framework. Proven track record in building scalable, maintainable web applications. Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and a solid understanding of database systems. Experience with version control (especially Git), test-driven development, and continuous integration. Strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
