The Staff Accountant provides organized and detail oriented professional services for full cycle accounting. The staff accountant provides support to the corporate accounting department in preparing monthly and annual financial reports to maintain records which are related to the financial activities of the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: US Accounting experience is mandatory. G/L postings, fixed assets/depreciation, cost-center allocations, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities support. Balance sheet reconciliations and transactional review support. Assist in monthly close process and financial statement preparation. Assist with preparation and responses for audits. Bank Reconciliations Process corporate AR transactions; including invoicing and payment applications. Produce daily, weekly, and monthly GL, AR, and Cash reporting. Monitor and maintain integrity of the GL accounting system, specifically the chart of accounts and subaccount list. Correspond with banks and other agencies for issue resolution and responses to inquiries in a professional manner. Update and maintain policies & procedure documentation. Meet the contractual commitments to client(s) through timely and accurate reporting and issue resolution Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Effective decision maker. Strong communication skills- both written and oral. Critical thinking ability. Responsible and analytical bent of mind. Exceptional mathematical skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Perform other job-related duties as directed by supervisor. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or any related field of study. 1-3 years of related experience preferred PrismHR is a fast-paced SaaS company which provides customers with a cloud-based payroll process software application.
