Accounting Bookkeeper

Description:
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Measure Marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, experience with Click Books software and a solid grasp of the Canadian taxation system and laws. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Click Books software Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data Prepare and process invoices, bills, and other financial documents Assist with payroll processing and related tasks Generate financial reports and summaries for management review Ensure compliance with Canadian taxation laws and regulations Assist with financial audits as needed Provide support to the accounting team as required Requirements : Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. Proficiency with Click Books software Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Familiarity with the Canadian taxation system and laws Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) Relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CPB) is a plus Powered by JazzHR
