Position Overview: The Senior Solution Engineer at SMS Magic plays a crucial role in the sales cycle by demonstrating profound technical expertise. This position requires the ability to swiftly grasp intricate customer requirements and offer solutions and impromptu demonstrations to secure a technical victory during the sales process. The role entails consistently building a repertoire of assets to effectively cater to the needs of both enterprise and mid-market clients. Ideal candidates will possess experience in navigating complex scenarios involving telecom networks, enterprise software, and CRM integrations. Reporting directly to the VP of Growth, the Senior Solution Engineer will actively contribute to driving new business through partner-related integrations. Beyond sales-related tasks, collaboration with third-party ISVs and the product team is essential for developing integrations and architectures conducive to seamless partnerships. Responsibilities also encompass thorough preparation for strategic proof of concepts with clients, showcasing the value proposition of combined solutions to partners, and delivering confident presentations to large audiences. Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate deep technical expertise throughout the sales cycle to secure favorable outcomes. Understand and address complex customer requirements promptly and effectively. Build and maintain a robust portfolio of assets tailored to diverse client needs. Collaborate with the VP of Growth to drive new business through partner integrations. Engage with 3rd party ISVs and the product team to develop necessary integrations and architectures. Prepare for strategic proof of concepts with clients to showcase the value of proposed solutions. Present confidently to large audiences, articulating the benefits of SMS Magic's offerings. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a business or technical field preferred. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a pre-sales or solution architect role. Proficiency in understanding applications, SDKs, and APIs, with the ability to navigate SMS Magic's product set effectively. Strong understanding of telecom networks, enterprise software, and CRM integrations. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Proven track record of driving successful sales outcomes through technical expertise and strategic collaboration. Ability to adapt quickly to evolving business needs and industry trends. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Collaborative mindset with a focus on fostering partnerships and driving mutual success.
