Profile: Senior Backend DeveloperExperience: 5+ YearsNotice Period: ImmediateJob Type: Contractual Location: Whitefield BangaloreRoles and Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs to support our web and mobile applications.- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs and implementation plans.- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.- Optimize performance and scalability of backend systems to ensure high availability and responsiveness.- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.- Integrate third-party services and APIs as needed to enhance functionality and user experience.- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers to ensure code quality and consistency.- Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by QA or production support teams, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend tools and frameworks to improve development processes and efficiency.- Mentor junior developers and contribute to their professional growth and development.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in backend development, with proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or similar.- Strong understanding of web development concepts and experience with server-side frameworks such as Django, Spring Boot, Express.js, or similar.- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.- Familiarity with RESTful API design principles and experience building and consuming APIs.- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.This is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
