Description:
The Software Application Engineer is responsible for scoping, designing, implementing, and testing integration solutions using Python, AWS Technologies, Java and integration tools like Snap Logic. The developer will be joining an Integration and Automation team that is automating and optimizing internal business processes. The developer will work closely with business partners to deliver business value, and with the Integration and Automation team to develop and deliver on best practices, increase the reliability of the integration and automation platform, and decrease the time to market for new applications.About the Role : - Scoping and design of new automation and features in conjunction with business stakeholders.- Software business process development with emphasis on quality and extensive automation- Craft and build REST APIs, highly scalable collaboration platform and features.- Build simple easy automations to simplify business processes that are fuelled by the latest technologies and tool sets. - Comprehensive internal documentation of designs and product components.- Collaborate in a small team & business stakeholders using your engineering background to get work done!- Learn data driven tools and help chip in to our ever-evolving metrics, alerting and decision-making platform.- Exert your independence and ability to learn unfamiliar technology.- Build and maintain robust and quality code and reliable automated tests.- Provide support to production incidents and ability to find root-cause and potential fixes.Basic Qualifications : - 5+ years' hands on experience in Designing, developing, and maintaining complex data transformation to support various business and technology needs - Proficient in ETL methodology in performing Data Profiling, Data Migration, Extraction and Transformation- Good knowledge in AWS Technologies like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, AppSync, SQS, SNS, Aurora DB, CloudWatch and Redshift.- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration best practices - Hands on and in depth understanding of APIs, API management tools- Hands on experience in developing automations using Python programming language.- Previous experience developing in an Agile/Scrum environment.- A love for learning and a passion for helping others!Other Qualifications : - Automation using PowerShell, Perl, or Java etc- AWS Certification (ref:hirist.tech)
