Brief Overview of the Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to lead the development of product roadmaps, collaborate on technical strategies, and engage in customer interactions within our Connected Vehicles practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android middleware, embedded systems, and a proven track record in enhancing customer satisfaction through innovative technical solutions.Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Planning: Formulate comprehensive product roadmaps and develop robust software architectures aligned with our strategic objectives.- Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with customers to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring high satisfaction levels.- Technical Leadership: Elevate team capabilities through mentorship, streamline processes, and conduct technical impact analyses to optimize product design and performance.- Innovation: Implement automation and toolchains, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.- Solution Development: Craft and propose technical solutions that address complex challenges, providing accurate task estimates.Technologies to be used:- Android AOSP build system, Framework and HAL development- Communication protocols: CAN, LIN, UDS- Programming Languages: C++, Linux- Yocto Build and CI/CD processesQualifications:- Engineering degree in relevant field- 12+ years of experience in system/software engineering, preferably in the Automotive/Aerospace sectorsKnowledge:- In-depth knowledge of Android middleware and embedded systems- Familiarity with configuration and change management methodologiesSkills:- Proficiency in C++ and Linux- Expertise in Android AOSP, framework, and HAL development- Strong understanding of communication protocols (CAN, LIN, UDS)- Experience with Yocto Build and CI/CD processesAttitude:- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset- Strong communication skills- Commitment to continuous improvement and innovationWork Environment:- Role reports to the Project /Delivery Manager- Part of a dynamic team with clearly defined roles, committed to delivering innovative solutionsCompany Overview:A global technology leader propelling the mobility sector towards an autonomous, clean, smart, and connected future.
