Skills Required : Java, Selenium, BDD, API Automation (Rest Assured)Job Description :We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation testing with proficiency in Java, Selenium, BDD, and API automation using Rest Assured. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.Key Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.- Implement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) framework using tools like Cucumber for efficient test automation.- Design and execute API automation tests using Rest Assured for RESTful web services.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and define test scenarios.- Identify, prioritize, and execute test cases based on business requirements and user stories.- Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases and identify potential issues.- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.- Analyze test results, log defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process, tools, and frameworks.- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on automation best practices.Required Skills :- Minimum 7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.- Proficiency in Java programming language for test automation.- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.- Strong understanding of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) principles and experience with Cucumber.- Experience in API automation using Rest Assured or similar tools for RESTful web services.- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.- Proven track record of delivering high-quality automated test solutions in Agile environments.- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins.- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git for code management.- Familiarity with testing microservices architectures and cloud-based applications.- Certification in software testing or test automation (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium WebDriver).
