Description:
The Lead Product Engineer role is expected to have in-depth knowledge of our service recovery domain products. They aid the team in understanding upstream and downstream product impacts plus the underlying technology capabilities. They also provide end-to-end systems thinking, ensure backlog hygiene, and lead sprint planning with the development teams.Responsibilities : - Responsible for conducting sophisticated and detailed research of existing processes, systems, and desired objectives to meet the goals and intent of the assigned products.- Work with business product owner and smes to prioritize feature development, based on the business value.- Build deep-level data understanding of the owned domains and perform necessary report and insight generation by executing sql queries on data storages or by using data analysis tools.- Work with technical teams to initiate and drive technical roadmap deliverables to completion.- Elicit and create initial epics, and features an elaborate user scenarios that clearly describe the functional and non-functional requirements deliver business requirements via artifacts such as epics, features, scenarios, acceptance criteria, process flows, wireframe diagrams, interaction diagrams, mockups, demos, etc.- Drive team excellence with proactive contributions toward continuous improvement.- Collaborate with a multi-functional team inside a scrum framework.- Conduct work sessions and document new features, requirements, and strategies.- Perform testing, track bugs, and enhancements, and ensure issues are resolved before promoting to production environments.- Successfully handle multiple initiatives and balance constantly evolving priorities.- Query and analyze data to estimate future and measure current solution impact.- Develop business logic and critical metrics for incorporation into decision support models and tools.- Construct problem statements including problem description and improvement measures.- Always anticipate the next question - drill down beyond the problem surface to understand the root cause, business impact, and next steps.- Supply guidance to project planning and effort estimation within scope.- Support the identification of risks and mitigation approaches.- Develop and maintain internal customer relationships.Requirements : - 7-10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise technology or airline organizations.- Knowledge of the concept and principles of agile methodology and ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development and delivery.- Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from feasibility through to production.- Excellent skills in sql query and ability to work with any data analysis tools like powerbi, or tableau.- Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze, and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.- Strong written, oral communication, and social skills.- Must have excellent planning and organizational skills, and strong verbal, and written communication and facilitation skills.- Must be performing satisfactorily in the present position.- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.- Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.Preferred qualifications : - Prior experience in working with complex enterprise data and hands-on experience with querying and analyzing data.- Ability to analyze and visualize data towards identifying the root cause of a business problem, building essential metrics, and performing trend analysis.- Ability to solve complex business problems starting from business services planning to scheduling, production, and dispatch.- Hands-on experience with sqls.- Subject matter expert for your applications and take ownership of their development and performance.- Solid understanding of agile / sdlc development methodologies.- Airline business experience, as well as business process re-engineering and/or extensive experience working with agile teams, is desirable.
