Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to join our team.- The QA Lead will be responsible for understanding requirements, creating test cases and plans, ensuring timely execution of tests, efficient reporting and communication, mentoring new team members, and collaborating with stakeholders across teams.- The ideal candidate will have expertise in networking product testing, virtualization product testing, or system software product testing.- Additionally, the QA Lead will oversee all aspects of QA, establish metrics, apply industry best practices, ensure product quality goals are met, and work towards improving team practices.Key Responsibilities:Requirement Understanding and Test Case Creation:- Understand project requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases and test plans.Test Execution and Reporting:- Ensure timely execution of test cases and efficient reporting of test results.Mentoring and Team Leadership:- Mentor new team members and provide guidance on test coverage and day-to-day tasks.- Lead by example, from planning to execution, and collaborate effectively with the team.Stakeholder Collaboration:- Work with various stakeholders across teams to prioritize deliverables and ensure alignment with project goals.Review and Guidance:- Review test cases and defects, providing guidance to team members on improving quality and coverage.Product/Module Ownership:- Take ownership of products/modules and ensure quality deliveries.- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to facilitate smooth release cycles.- Maintain releases of owned products/modules and ensure their integrity.Quality Assurance Practices:- Establish metrics and apply industry best practices to all aspects of QA.- Ensure that product quality goals are met and work towards helping the team move to better practices.Mandatory Requirements:- 10 to 15 years of experience in QA, with expertise in networking product testing, virtualization product testing, or system software product testing.- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, techniques, and QA processes.- Hands-on experience in designing test plans, strategies, and test case management.- Proficiency in defect management, prioritization, and using test management tools.- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
