Notice Period : 0-30 Days.- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Greenplum Database Administrator to join our team.- The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Greenplum platforms and possess in-depth knowledge of Greenplum internal tools. - They should be proficient in writing and tuning complex SQL queries on large database systems, with a specialization in Greenplum.Responsibilities :- Utilize hands-on experience with Greenplum platforms to effectively manage and optimize database performance.- Write and tune complex SQL queries on large database systems, demonstrating a deep understanding of Greenplum.- Implement and oversee capacity planning activities to ensure optimal resource allocation.- Troubleshoot database issues and implement solutions, leveraging knowledge of Greenplum extensions.- Develop and automate functions within the Greenplum environment to streamline processes.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Greenplum with VMWare technologies, including vSphere, VSAN, and virtual networking.- Utilize Linux OS experience to optimize Greenplum performance and integration.Requirements :- Proven experience with Greenplum platforms and internal tools.- Proficiency in SQL with a specialization in Greenplum.- Demonstrated ability to improve Greenplum database performance and conduct capacity planning.- Experience with Greenplum extensions and troubleshooting techniques.- Strong skills in Greenplum function development and automation.- Basic knowledge of VMWare technologies, including vSphere, VSAN, and virtual networking.- Familiarity with PowerFlex, VMWare ESX, networking, and Linux OS.- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.- If you are passionate about Greenplum database administration and possess the required skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.- Greenplum Admin with Data Platform.Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's (ref:hirist.tech)
