Senior Simulation & Analysis EngineerDomnic Lewis has been mandated to hire Senior Simulation & Analysis Engineer for a Bangalore locationYour Responsibilities:Comprehend the simulation requirements and devise/adapt tools to address the needs in the ADAS domain.Contribute to shaping a modular, scalable simulation platform.Collaborate across ADAS simulation and vehicle dynamics teams to enhance the simulator's fidelity.Stay abreast of the latest research and technologies in autonomous driving and simulation.Analyze issues identified during Vehicle and Continuous Integration tests, working closely with developers to pinpoint root causes and iterate on software changes.Verify and validate ADAS systems in accordance with Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, and regulatory assessments such as EURONCAP.Analyze data from evaluation drives and simulation outputsYour Future Team :You'll collaborate with Subject Matter experts, System Engineers, Function Developers, and System Test Engineers in India and other Volvo locations globally. Together, you'll tackle challenging problem statements in the realm of simulations, focusing on advanced engineering topics that require a simulation environment for developing suitable ADAS solutions.Who You Are and What Experience You Bring :- Enthusiastic about exploring, benchmarking, and acquiring new skills.- Proficient in working with ADAS simulation tools, including open-source options like Unreal Engine 5 and Unity.- Experience in modeling one or more of the following: vehicle dynamics, sensors, control systems, stochastic systems, ROS (Robotic Operating System), and Canoe.- Familiarity with SIL and HIL simulation.- Excellent software development skills in C++ and Python.- Proven experience in developing and delivering applications/simulation tools for engineering applications.- Strong mathematical skills, including proficiency in linear algebra and numerical methods.- Experienced with operating systems such as Linux, JIRA, and Git.Educational background : BE/B.Tech/Master in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience with evidence of exceptional ability.
