Current opportunity: Staff Accountant, Accounts Receivable Location: BangaloreOnsite/Hybrid/Remote: HybridShifts: US shiftYears of experience: 3-5 years What you will do: As a Staff Accountant, Accounts receivable, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the accounts receivable functions of the organization. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely collection of receivables, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues. Responsibilities: Perform the day to day processing of revenue billing and recording of cash receipts to client records. Maintain client records in an, up to date and accurate manner. Prepare and enter journal entries as required. Responsible for collection, management, and resolution of outstanding invoices from past due Accounts. Generate invoices in accounting software and mail them to clients. Prepare monthly account reconciliations. Respond to supplier and affiliate queries. Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services. Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures. Prepare, verify, and process invoices and coding of payment documents. Prepare batches of invoices for approval and data entry. Sends bi-weekly aging reports to account managers for review & collection of past due amounts. Assists account managers with collection. Prepare and mail vendor checks. Enter manual checks when required. Generate revenue by clients report and revenue comparison to previous periods. Maintain vendor files electronic and paper files. Analyze accounts for accuracy. Qualifications/Skills: To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. Knowledge of Prepaid Expenses and Accruals. Experience in NetSuite. Strong general ledger experience is a must. 3-5 Years’ experience in Finance with Accounts Receivable experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Strong Excel Skills.
