You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of a high-quality product. Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and implement automated test frameworks using frameworks like Selenium for web applications and other relevant frameworks for desktop applications. - Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks to ensure efficiency and scalability. - Create and manage comprehensive test cases, including planning, executing, and reporting test results. - Collaborate with developers to identify, debug, and resolve complex program errors and bottlenecks in existing code.- Utilize source control systems like Git and build tools like Jenkins to manage code versions and automate testing processes. - Effectively communicate test results and identified bugs to the development team, working collaboratively to resolve issues. - Possess a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles. Requirements :- Proven experience in writing and maintaining Selenium-based automation frameworks and scripts. - In-depth understanding of QA processes, including test case planning, feature ownership, automation reporting, regression testing, bug reporting, and triage. - Experience in building and maintaining REST API-based automation frameworks and scripts (Preferred). - Strong programming knowledge with proficiency in data structures and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. - Familiarity with Python is a plus. Hands-on experience with popular test automation frameworks like Robot Framework or Selenium. - Functional knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and test case writing techniques. - Familiarity with build tools like Jenkins, Apache Ant, or Gradle (Preferred). - Experience in at least one programming language, preferably Python, with proficiency in API testing using that language. - Understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and software build processes. - Experience in testing Cloud-based SaaS (Software as a Service) or PaaS (Platform as a a Service) solutions (Preferred). - Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams. - Proven ability to take ownership of projects and demonstrate a results-oriented approach. We are looking for an intelligent and adaptable individual who can quickly learn and apply new skills. While experience in some of the preferred qualifications is a plus, your ability to demonstrate the core skills and a strong understanding of QA principles is most important. Scope of Work :- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, leads, UX designers, QA testers, program managers, architects) throughout the development lifecycle. - Automate tests for various applications and components to ensure continuous quality improvement. - Identify and report bugs effectively to facilitate timely resolution. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in test automation tools and methodologies.
