Position Overview:We are currently seeking a talented SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. The SQL DBA will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of SQL Server databases in a 24/7 operating environment. This position requires expertise in SQL Server administration, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The SQL DBA will be part of a team supporting critical systems, with priority levels defined based on business impact.Role & responsibilities :- Application administrator will be responsible for the availability of various Application components and underlying environments.- Configure and harden environments in line with documentation provided.- Resolve issues/requests within SLAs- Monitor availability of enough disk space- Ensure various backups are in place- Ensure all scheduled jobs run successfully- The administrator should be able to work on multiple environments at the same time.- Analyze Log Files to find out the root cause of the problem to troubleshoot.- Managing Production changes through release process on DEV / TEST / PROD.- Provided support P1 supported 24/7, p2/3 during standard EST bus hrs.Required Skills & Experience :- Understanding of the deployment process- Good understanding of RPOs and RTOs- Experience in analyzing various error logs, troubleshoot issues- Perform RCAs, document issues, ensure CAPA is done.- Thorough understanding of SSL Certificates, Load Balancers, Web Application Firewalls- Understanding of API/ file/FTP based integration with third party systems- Thorough knowledge of SQL Server Database Instance- Good understanding of SQL Server Security features- Good SQL Server troubleshooting skills- Good knowledge of configuring SSIS, SSRS, deploying RDL files for the SSRS reports.- Good knowledge of Windows Server OS and components like IIS- Good interpersonal and written/oral communication skills- Good Knowledge in writing and analyzing the PowerShell scripts.- Good problem-solving ability- P1 supported 24/7, p2/3 during standard EST bus hrsExp : 5 to 8 yearsLocation : Pune/Remote currently (ref:hirist.tech)
