Job Title : GitHub Platform Engineer/AdministratorLocation : BangaloreMode of Work : Work From Office (WFO), HybridExperience : 6+ yearsNote : Only looking for Immediate Joiner Company Overview :Elanco, a global leader in animal health, provides innovative products and services to prevent and treat diseases in farm and companion animals.Position Overview :We're seeking a skilled GitHub Platform Engineer/Administrator to manage and optimize our GitHub environment. As a key team member, you'll administer repositories, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure seamless integration with other platforms.Responsibilities :Administer GitHub repositories, permissions, and workflows.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into user stories.Manage product backlog and prioritize features.Ensure integration with other platforms like Jira and Service Now.Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.Requirements :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.6+ years of experience working as an Engineer or Administrator with a focus on GitHub platform.Proficiency in administering GitHub repositories, permissions, and workflows.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Experience with backlog management tools such as Jira is advantageous.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.Self-driven and outcome-focused, with the ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.Familiarity with DevOps practices and methodologies is a plus.GitHub certification(s) would be a significant advantage.Join us in shaping the future of our GitHub environment and driving innovation across our organization.
