Job Description :We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer to join our team. As a Senior Node.js Developer, you will lead the development of server-side applications, APIs, and microservices using Node.js. You will collaborate closely with our engineering, product, and design teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that meet our business objectives.Responsibilities :- Lead the design and development of server-side applications and APIs using Node.js.- Architect scalable and maintainable solutions to support our business requirements.- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend functionality.- Design and optimize database schemas and queries for performance, scalability, and reliability.- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.- Optimize server-side applications for performance, responsiveness, and security.- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, including user authentication, permissions, and access controls.- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate deployment and monitoring processes.- Stay up-to-date with the latest Node.js developments, tools, and trends, and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.- Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support in best practices, coding techniques, and project execution.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer, with at least 5 years of experience in developing server-side applications and APIs using Node.js.- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks.- Experience with web application frameworks such as Express.js.- Proficiency in asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and handling of concurrency in Node.js.- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and code collaboration platforms.- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a strong attention to detail.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment (ref:hirist.tech)
