Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and automated tests. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.Responsibilities: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and technical support to identify and resolve issues.Perform manual and automated testing as needed, including regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing.Document and track defects found during testing, and work with development teams to prioritize and resolve them.Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality.Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies related to software testing.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium.Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Experience with SaaS-based industry is highly preferred (ref:hirist.tech)
