Description:
Notice: Immediate joiners only.Key Responsibilities:- Configure and maintain network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and access points.- Implement and manage VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), link aggregation, and other network protocols.- Troubleshoot network issues at Level 2, including connectivity problems, performance issues, and network outages.- Collaborate with Level 3 engineers to escalate and resolve complex network problems.- Monitor network performance and security, identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities or areas for improvement.- Assist in the design and implementation of network upgrades and expansions.- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and end-users.- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 5 years of experience in a network engineering role, with a focus on Level 2 responsibilities.- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).- Hands-on experience with network devices from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Arista.- Proficiency in network troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across different departments.- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
