Job Title: Playwright Testing EngineerJob Description:We are seeking a talented and experienced Playwright Testing Engineer to join our QA team. As a Playwright Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests using the Playwright framework to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications across different browsers and platforms. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify test scenarios, create test plans, and implement automated test scripts.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using the Playwright framework to validate the functionality and performance of web applications.- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and identify test scenarios.- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.- Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.- Report and track defects using issue tracking tools and participate in defect triage meetings.- Work closely with the development team to reproduce and debug issues identified during testing.- Continuously monitor test coverage and identify opportunities to enhance test automation efficiency and effectiveness.- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the code.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in automated testing and contribute to the improvement of the QA process.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience in automated testing, specifically using the Playwright framework.- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript programming languages.- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Selenium.- Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.- Experience with version control systems such as Git.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or Travis CI.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities.- Experience with other testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., BDD, TDD) is a plus.- Certification in Playwright or related areas of expertise is advantageous.If you are passionate about automated testing and have a strong background in Playwright framework, we invite you to apply and become a valuable member of our QA team!
