Job Summary :We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Test Engineer to join our team in the Automotive/Battery Management System (BMS) domain. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and reliability of our automotive and BMS products through comprehensive system testing.Responsibilities :System Testing :- Develop and execute automated system test cases for automotive and BMS functionalities using Vector tools like vTestStudio and CANoe.- Design and implement test automation scripts using VTT, CAPL, Python, JavaScript, or VB Script to improve test efficiency and coverage.- Conduct Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing to simulate real-world operating conditions.- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to ensure resolution.- Participate in test planning and strategy formulation based on requirements documents.Functional Safety and Standards :- Demonstrate a strong understanding of functional safety principles and best practices, particularly ASPICE.- Apply functional safety concepts throughout the testing lifecycle to mitigate risks.Communication and Collaboration :- Work effectively with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate test results clearly.- Document test plans, test cases, and test procedures.Technical Expertise :- Possess in-depth knowledge of CAN and UDS communication protocols used in automotive systems.- Have hands-on experience working with battery simulators, temperature simulators, and other relevant test equipment.Qualifications :- 4-6 years of experience as a Test Engineer in the Automotive or BMS domain (a must).- Proven experience in system testing methodologies and best practices.- Expertise in automated test tools like Vector vTestStudio and CANoe.- Proficiency in test scripting languages (VTT, CAPL, Python, JavaScript, VB Script).- Strong understanding of HIL testing and its applications.- Solid knowledge of CAN and UDS protocols.- Familiarity with functional safety concepts and ASPICE is a plus.- Experience working with battery simulators, temperature simulators, and other automotive test equipment (a plus).- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively (ref:hirist.tech)
