We are looking for the Smartest People on the block...We at iRage are an agile, young bunch. You will get to solve some extremely challenging engineering problems and shape the future of the fast-paced Algo-Trading industry while working alongside other exceptional programmers, quants and traders.You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure required for the smooth functioning of trading operations. The primary responsibility of a network engineer is to ensure that the network is reliable, secure, and high-performing.Role Summary: Network EngineerRequired Skillset:- Knowledge of client-server architectures and network design.- Solid knowledge of Cisco IOS/NxOS and other network operating systems- Knowledge of routing protocols including static routing, BGP, OSPF & PIM.- Knowledge of WAN, LAN and datacenter network architectures.- Experience with multicast configuration.- Experience of Firewall technology and VPN technology including site-to-site VPN & GRE.- Knowledge of Unix or Linux- Mandatory CCNP Global Certification - Systems administration experience (a plus)- Knowledge of datacenter installation and cabling standards- Firewall experiencesShift Timings: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM (Monday to Saturday).
