The ideal candidate will be proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions on AWS cloud platform. This role requires expertise in AWS services, Kafka, Snowflake, and Python programming.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures on AWS cloud platform.- Implement real-time streaming solutions using Kafka for data ingestion and processing.- Build and optimize data warehouses on Snowflake for efficient data storage and retrieval.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust data solutions.- Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data quality and integrity.- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure smooth functioning.- Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering.Requirements:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions on AWS.- Strong proficiency in AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Lambda, etc.- Experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming and messaging.- Proficiency in Snowflake for building and managing data warehouses.- Advanced programming skills in Python.- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.- Experience with Agile development methodologies.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred Qualifications:- AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.- Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, etc.- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, etc.If you are passionate about leveraging AWS cloud services to build innovative data solutions and thrive in a collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
