Ruby on Rails Developer duties and responsibilities : Development of new web applicationsMaintenance of existing web applicationsWriting server-side web application logic in RubyCreate back-end componentsConnect the application with the other web servicesExtending and maintaining JSON and Liquid-based APIsRequirements and Qualifications : 1-2years of experience with Ruby and the Rails framework1-2 years of experience with full web stack including HTTP, CSS, REST1-2 years of experience with Git and Github1-2 years of experience with Angular or Backbone JSKnowledge of Docker and docker-based deploymentYears of experience with SQL backends, preferably Postgres or mySQLFamiliarity with testing tools such as CucumberCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsTeam playerGood time-management skills (ref:hirist.tech)
