Krones Digital Solutions India is created as of 2023 to be the Technology Competence Centre for Krones, focusing on developing software solutions for the Internal organization as well as for the customers of Krones Global.What You will do Everyday :- You will be responsible for leading & managing the Engineering Team set up in KDSI in alignment with the global roadmap to transform & rebuild applications for Krones Internal Engineering platforms.- Lead and manage a dynamic team in India specializing in software development for engineering applications, including the redevelopment of legacy applications.- Oversee the team's engagement in supporting and operating CAx (Computer-Aided design, manufacturing, and engineering) applications, document management, drawing provision, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).- Collaborate closely with German counterparts, including colleagues from the engineering domain and potentially external service providers, ensuring effective communication and seamless workflow.- Provide guidance and support to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions for engineering software, legacy application redevelopment, and a spectrum of support services.- Facilitate collaboration between team members and German counterparts, emphasizing a customer-centric approach to address diverse requirements.- Take a lead role in strategic planning, resource allocation, and professional development within the team.Your Superpowers :- Industry Experience of 11-13 years in CAD Engineering & .NET Software development and proven experience of atleast 3+ years in managing software development teams as Project / Delivery Manager, preferably in an international context.- Strong background in software development, particularly in the engineering software domain.- Knowledge of Engineering Product Management Lifecycle- Strong Experience in managing project requirements, creating task plan and resource allocation, tracking delivery completion, quality checks, user acceptance and roll out.- Expertise in supporting CAx applications, document management, drawing provision, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).- Well-versed in Agile methodologies and software engineering principle.- Should be flexible to work according to German working hours.- Should have worked in multi-cultural environment.Technical Experience :- .NET with WPF- CAD CAx application- RPA & Automation- PLMProcess Experience : - Project Management- Software Development Lifecycle- Agile Methodology- Quality Management & Measurement KPIsLeadership Qualities :- Excellent communication skills and fluent knowledge of spoken and written English- Leadership skills to inspire and guide a diverse team, fostering collaboration and innovation.- Ability to connect with multiple stakeholders to reach agreement & decision making.- Critical Thinking & problem solving- Business Acumen & ability to prioritize.Interview Process :- There will be 2 rounds of interview.Reporting Structure :- Directly report to Managing Director, KDSI- Functional Reporting to Head of Engineering & Innovation within the IM organization in Krones AGWhat our Employees say :- "Learning experience, updated technology, efficient machines, good team, supportive employees, work life balance"- "Global communication" (ref:hirist.tech)
