Job Description : Summary :The Systems Administrator : Windows is responsible for supporting & maintaining the computer systems, to include providing Windows based systems administration.Primary Duties :- Provides tier two technical support within the Company I.T. infrastructure and end-users.- Provides maintenance of routine data backups and server-based troubleshooting as it relates to end-user support & project-based initiatives Data backup processes & administration.- Provides daily backups and tape archival of all existing and new servers.- Maintains tape rotation cycle with off-site vendor.- Troubleshoots basic incidents or collaborates with infrastructure teams to solve problems with backup issues and maintains backup documentation.- Documents data restore techniques based on the software architecture being backed-up.- Performs periodic data restore testing.- Assists in advanced issue resolution & provide on-call support.- Serves as initial point of contact for support on Windows level system incidents.- Configures and debugs programs/systems, data backup, and/or processes.- Other duties as required and assigned.Requirements :Education and Experience :- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field from a 4-year college or university- Minimum 4 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination education and experience- Experience performing administrative, maintenance and troubleshooting with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint- Experience with Windows servers, Active Directories, and VMware- MCSA Preferred- Knowledge of 3rd party logistics, transportation systems, and/or warehouse management is preferred- Knowledge of leading industry technologies with a strong knowledge around IT governance, project planning, and the technological usage/alternatives available in a multi-platform environmentEssential Skills :- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and co-workers.- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
