You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the overall growth and success of our engineering organisation.Key Responsibilities :- Design and develop robust and scalable fullstack solutions using Java technologies.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and deliver optimal user experiences.- Drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical design to implementation, testing, and deployment.- Champion best practices for software development, code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of applications.- Participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. Requirements :- We are looking for a Backend Engineer with at least 3-5 years of total work experience, preferably in building digital financial products for India.- We are looking for someone with a full ownership mindset who will contribute to everything from discovery, and architecture design to delivery as well as hiring.- Compensation will be as per market standards and your expertise in the domain.- Strong knowledge of design patterns, and best practices for backend development.- Experience with microservices architecture and API design.- Proficiency in Java, RESTful APIs, and related technologies.- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and data modelling.- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) and caching mechanisms- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
