Role : Linux Adminstration , SE Linux , NFS , CIFS mounts , FTP management and Performance management Technology - REDHAT Linux versions 7 , 8 & 9 , CENTOS , AIX , Ubuntu"Job Description :We are seeking a skilled Linux Administrator to join our IT team. As a Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Linux-based systems. You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our infrastructure.Responsibilities :- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and related software.- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.- Perform system upgrades, patches, and updates on a regular basis.- Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems from unauthorized access or breaches.- Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration guides, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting manuals.- Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed.- Automate repetitive tasks and streamline processes using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for improvements to the existing infrastructure.- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to system emergencies outside of regular business hours.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Minimum X years of experience as a Linux Administrator or similar role.- Proficiency in Linux operating systems, including CentOS, Ubuntu, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux.- Experience with system administration tasks such as user management, file system management, and network configuration.- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM.- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Certifications such as RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) or LPIC (Linux Professional Institute Certification) are a plus .Benefits :- Competitive salary- Comprehensive health benefits- Retirement savings plan- Flexible work schedule- Professional development opportunitiesIf you have a passion for Linux systems and are looking for an opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for this position.
