About the jobJob Description :We are looking for a highly skilled AS400 Technology Analyst with a minimum of 6 years of experience in AS400 development, specifically in COBOL/400. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, building, and testing applications on the AS400 platform. Additionally, they should possess a strong understanding of Financial Services and core banking functional knowledge.Responsibilities :- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.- Design, develop, and implement solutions on the AS400 platform using COBOL/400.- Build and test applications to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements.- Provide support and maintenance for existing AS400 applications.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to AS400 development.Mandatory Skills :- Minimum 6 years of experience in AS400 development.- Proficiency in COBOL/400 programming language.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to analyze business processes and design efficient solutions on the AS400 platform.- Experience with testing and debugging AS400 applications.Desired Skills :- Knowledge of Financial Services and core banking processes.- Familiarity with IBBA (Integrated Banking and Budgeting Application) would be a plus.- Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile environment.- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
