Big 4 is hiring for the position of Sr. Engineer- SQA for Bangalore location1. Execute programs and automated scripts for testing purposes2. Develop automation scripts to align with acceptance criteria3. Functional test new products and regression test existing products during each QA release cycle4. Assist with the testing, documenting, defect tracking and information flow during each QA cycle5. Assist with development of new automation tools and maintaining existing automation tools6. Gain proficient knowledge of system functionality7. Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement to help streamline the development life cycle8. Participate in Scrum ceremonies and discuss about the defects with details with the development teamTechnical Skills: Experience in one or more of the following:1. Testing cloud native solutions2. Knowledge in :- TestOps theory and best practices- Testing in high velocity delivery systems- Synthetic transaction testing- Test Driven Development- Cloud native software testing3. High level familiarity in -- Application Monitoring- Continuous Software Delivery- Full Stack Serverless Web Application Delivery- AWS Management, Security, Scalability, Reliability, Cost OptimizationDesired Candidate Profile:1. At least 5 years of professional experience in software domain2. At least 2 years of Java programming experience3. At least 2 years of experience creating and maintaining test tooling4. At least 2 years+ of working experience with JavaScript/Typescript5. Experience with Unit test framework and development tools such as Mocha / Jest6. Experience automating tests for AWS Lambda functions7. At least 2 years of experience testing cloud native software8. B.E/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent in Computer Science/IT or related field.9. AWS Certified Developer - Associate10. Exposure to CI/CD tooling, especially CircleCI11. Experience with microservice architectures12. Hands on experience querying data13. Proficient in testing of GraphQL and REST APIs (ref:hirist.tech)
