We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Jira Administrator to join our team and play a crucial role in optimizing our Jira and ServiceNow deployments to support agile development and service desk operations.Experience : 8-15 yearsSummary :This position focuses on application administration and development for Jira and ServiceNow. You will be responsible for implementing and managing configurations to support efficient workflows, user access, and comprehensive reporting for both development teams and management.Key Responsibilities :Jira Administration :- Create customized Scrum projects with tailored workflows to match specific team requirements.- Manage user access and permissions within Jira to ensure security and appropriate project visibility.- Design and implement workflows, screens, custom fields, and issue security to optimize project management processes.- Develop automations using scripting languages to streamline repetitive tasks.- Build customized reports for management, providing valuable insights into project progress and team performance.- Evaluate and install relevant Jira add-ons to enhance functionality based on evolving needs.ServiceNow Administration :- Manage user access and permissions within ServiceNow to ensure efficient service desk operations.- Develop and maintain workflows to automate service request fulfillment processes.- Configure custom fields and reporting dashboards to gather and visualize service desk performance data.General Administration :- Manage user access and permissions across both Jira and ServiceNow to maintain a consistent and secure application landscape.- Monitor the performance of both cloud-based applications and troubleshoot any issues to ensure optimal functionality.Qualifications & Skills :Required :- 8-15 years of experience administering Atlassian tools, with a strong focus on Jira.- Proven experience in ServiceNow administration and service desk management.- In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).- Excellent scripting skills for workflow automation (e.g. ScriptRunner for Jira).- Experience with report building and data visualization tools.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.Desired : - Atlassian Certified Professional - Jira Cloud Administration (ACP-620) certification.- Experience with integrating Jira and ServiceNow for seamless collaboration.
