The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a deep technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of building and delivering successful software products. As the Head of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement.Responsibilities :Technical Leadership :- Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to the engineering team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.- Drive the architecture, design, and development of scalable, high-performance software solutions using NodeJS, ReactJS, AWS Cloud, and potentially Python.- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into the technical roadmap.Team Management and Development :- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional growth.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.- Conduct regular performance assessments, provide constructive feedback, and create opportunities for skill development.Project and Product Delivery :- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery of software products.- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements, and manage resource allocation accordingly.- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.Technical Excellence :- Champion coding standards, best practices, and engineering methodologies to maintain code quality, reliability, and scalability.- Lead code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making processes.- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging engineers to explore new technologies and approaches.Collaboration and Communication :- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding of technical initiatives and challenges.- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to align engineering efforts with overall company objectives and business strategies.Qualifications :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
