Key Responsibilities :- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10 engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.- Will own appraisals , compensation queries and leave management of his direct reports.- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including business, product, and HR teams, toalign engineering efforts with overall company goals.- Provide technical guidance, support, and expertise to the engineering team, ensuring the development of scalable and reliable solutions.- Set clear goals and expectations for the team and individuals, and regularly assess and improve teamperformance.- Drive the planning & execution of deliverables , ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality outcomes.- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve roadblocks, and make informed decisions to keep projects on track.- Sharp focus on observability, monitoring and debuggability of production code & infrastructure.- Contribute to recruitment efforts by sharing projections of hiring needs to his team , participating ininterviews, evaluating candidates, and with keen focus to build a diverse and skilled engineering team.
