Job Description :Responsibilities :- Spearhead the development of interactive web mapping applications, placing a central focus on seamless OpenStreetMap integration.- Harness the capabilities of OpenStreetMap to enhance the precision, comprehensiveness, and interactivity of location-based data.- Utilize the full range of GIS software including QGIS, ArcGIS, GRASS, and SAGA to conduct advanced data analysis, visualization, and manipulation.- Proficiently integrate geospatial data from diverse sources, spanning OpenStreetMap, Google Maps API, and other third-party services.- Proficiency in working with databases such as SQL, PostGIS, PostgreSQL, AirTable, GraphDB and Google API.- Craft responsive and visually striking user interfaces by leveraging JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, and Bootstrap.- Forge a collaborative environment with fellow developers and designers, ensuring the coalescence of exceptional user experiences across multiple platforms.- Keep abreast of emerging trends, methodologies, and best practices in GIS and web development.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, GIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Extensive, demonstrable experience with OpenStreetMap integration, manipulation, and utilization.- A proven track record of adeptly employing GIS software and tools such as QGIS, ArcGIS, GRASS, and SAGA.- Profound proficiency in OpenStreetMap as a central element of web mapping applications.- Skilled in GIS data analysis, visualization, and manipulation.- Innate problem-solving acumen, coupled with proactive solution-seeking behavior.- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and an innate ability to work collaboratively.
