Description:
Job Description :- Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases using best practices for database design and normalization.- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.- Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving performance issues and tuning SQL queries.- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.- Create and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and documentation for the SQL databases.- Work with the data team to perform data cleansing, data integration, and data transformation tasks.- Develop insightful and interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.- Ensure data security and access controls are implemented to protect sensitive data.- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and provide technical support to users.- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights from the data.- Participate in data architecture discussions and contribute to the overall data strategy.- Stay up-to-date with the latest SQL and Power BI advancements and best practices.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, statistics, economics or Engineering- Proven experience as a SQL Developer with a strong understanding of database concepts and SQL programming.- Experience in database design, data modeling, and performance optimization.- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.- Experience working with Power BI to create interactive reports and dashboards.- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and principles.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug database-related issues.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality solutions.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Familiarity with other BI tools and data visualization technologies is a plus.Preferred Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, statistics, economics or engineering (ref:hirist.tech)
