Job Title: Supply Chain Solution ArchitectJob Description :We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Solution Architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience in designing technology solutions for the supply chain domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of collaborating with various departments, including Omnichannel, Commercial, Finance, IT, and Analytics, to deliver innovative solutions that optimize supply chain operations. This role will involve working closely with business analysts and engineering teams based in the UK and overseas to design and document detailed solutions for supply chain projects. The successful candidate will also assist, and where practical, take ownership of the design and documentation process for all supply chain projects. Additionally, the role will involve gathering and analyzing data to support assessments and recommendations, as well as collaborating with the Head of Solution Architecture and programs to assess the impact of changes to in-flight projects.Key Responsibilities :Solution Design : Collaborate with various departments to design technology solutions that optimize supply chain operations and enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Cross-Departmental Liaison: Liaise with Omnichannel, Commercial, Finance, IT, and Analytics departments to understand their requirements and ensure alignment with supply chain solutions.Detailed Design Documentation: Assist, and where practical, take ownership of the design and documentation process for all detailed design aspects of supply chain projects.Data Analysis: Gather and analyze data to support assessments and recommendations for supply chain improvements and optimizations.Impact Assessment: Collaborate with the Head of Solution Architecture and programs to assess the impact of changes to in-flight supply chain projects and provide recommendations for mitigating risks and optimizing outcomes.Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders across departments and regions to ensure buy-in and alignment with supply chain solutions.Team Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts and engineering teams based in the UK and overseas to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing technology solutions for the supply chain domain.- Previous experience as a Solution Architect, preferably in a retail eCommerce environment, with a strong understanding of supply chain processes and systems.- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Omnichannel, Commercial, Finance, IT, and Analytics, to deliver integrated supply chain solutions.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and analyze data to support assessments and recommendations.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the design and documentation process for supply chain projects.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience with supply chain management systems such as SAP SCM, Oracle SCM, or similar.- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in supply chain management, such as blockchain, IoT, and machine learning.- Experience working in a global and multi-cultural environment, collaborating with teams based in different regions.
