1. Summary of the role:Specify the overall responsibilities and the main deliverables. Why do we need the role?You will work in close partnership across the SCM organization to provide self-service reporting and analytics that provide fast and accurate data insight enabling operational and strategic business decisions. Interfacing with other areas of TSS as needed (sales, manufacturing, IT etc)You will utilize your extensive skills in analytics tools such as IBM Cognos reports and dashboards, Cognos CAfE for Excel (IBM Planning Analytics), SAP S4/Hana/Fiori.2. Tasks and Responsibilities:- Develop, validate, deliver, and maintain:1. Operational business management KPIs2. Regular / recurring / scheduled analysis reports3. Analysis dashboards4. Ad hoc analysis requirements and tasks- Convert written requirements into a finalized specification document and resulting delivered product (reports, KPIs, dashboards)3. Education and Experience:- Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred- 3 Years of experience as Data Analyst role- Possess a high level of data accuracy and attention to detail- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise business communications- Ability to work independently, typically initiating own tasks with input/guidance from manager- Software knowledge: BI Cognos analytics for reports and dashboards, SAP S4/Hana Fiori, Excel (advanced)- Experience in other analytics, SQL/scripting and dashboard software tools a plus- Experience working across different countries / cultures4. Competencies:- Excellent communication and English language skills (spoken and written)- Team player- Able to work independently to achieve deliverables- Advanced mathematics and analytical skills- Highly results oriented- Knowledge of programming languages and other analysis tools would be helpful5. Key Interfaces and Stakeholders :- Global SCM organizationa (Germany, Americas, China, Japan India) and departments (Purcahsing, Procurement, Logisitics, Planning, Quality, Master Data Management)- Other Internal TSS teams (Sales, Manufacturing, R&D, Finance & IT)- Interface with the TSS IT BI team for backend developments needed required to support duties6. Geography to cover and Travel requirements :- Work hours aligned with European time zone- Predominantly / initially this role will support SCM Europe with additional work assignment supporting other SCM regions as necessary- Occasional international travel (5%) for training, team building and occasional other purposes7.
