Description:
Responsibilities : Automated Testing : Develop and implement automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and API testing tools to ensure the robustness and reliability of our software products.Test Planning : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, create comprehensive test plans, and contribute to the overall testing strategy.Test Execution : Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and report on the status of test coverage, identifying and documenting defects and issues.API Testing : Conduct thorough API testing to ensure the seamless integration and functionality of various software components.Continuous Improvement : Proactively identify areas for improvement in the testing process and contribute to enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the quality assurance practices.Collaboration : Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to address quality-related concerns and promote a culture of quality throughout the software development life cycle.Documentation : Maintain clear and concise documentation of test cases, test scripts, and testing processes.Regression Testing : Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features or enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.Qualifications : - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in automated testing, with a strong focus on Java, Selenium, and API testing.- Proven experience in developing and executing automated test scripts for web applications.- Solid understanding of software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and best practices.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.- Experience with hybrid working arrangements, showing the ability to manage responsibilities effectively in remote and office settings.- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
