The Opportunity :We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer (Backend) to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying mission-critical backend systems that power our applications. This individual contributor role offers the opportunity to work on complex technical challenges, own your projects, and make a significant impact on the company's success.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and implement highly scalable and maintainable backend systems using Java, Python, and Flutter.- Leverage your expertise in advanced system design principles to create robust and efficient solutions.- Demonstrate a strong track record of developing and deploying highly scalable software products with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.- Work effectively with a variety of data stores including PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, and Redis.- Participate in the selection, deployment, and management of cloud-native and classic infrastructure solutions.- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.- Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving the overall code quality of the codebase.- Stay up-to-date on the latest backend technologies and trends.Qualifications :- 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer (Backend) or a similar role.- Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy complex backend systems at scale.- In-depth proficiency in Java, Python, and Flutter with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.- Solid knowledge of distributed systems concepts and experience with data modeling.- Experience working with various data stores (e.g. PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Redis) a plus.- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and deployment strategies (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) a plus.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills .- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.- Passion for building high-quality software and a desire to learn and grow.
