Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Test Architect with a strong background in software testing and architecture. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in software testing, with expertise in designing testing frameworks, managing test environments, and implementing DevOps practices. Experience with Python, API management, database technologies, and AWS is highly desirable. The Test Architect will play a key role in defining testing strategies, architecting test frameworks, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.Key Responsibilities:- Testing Framework Architecture: Design and architect testing frameworks and methodologies to support efficient and effective software testing across various projects and teams.- API Management: Manage API design, documentation, and schema validation using OpenAPI Specification (OAS) or similar standards to ensure consistency and interoperability.- Database Knowledge: Possess a wide range of database knowledge across different technologies including MongoDB, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, etc. , to support database testing and validation.- DevOps Responsibilities: Take ownership of DevOps responsibilities for deploying and managing infrastructure in OpenShift and AWS environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.- AWS Certified: Hold AWS certifications with hands-on knowledge to manage infrastructure using Kubernetes (kube), kubectl, Terraform, and other AWS services.- AWS IAM, ACL, RBAC Policies: Configure and manage AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), Access Control Lists (ACLs), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies, and security best practices.- Service Virtualization: Experience with service virtualization tools such as Parasoft is a plus, enabling efficient testing in complex environments with dependencies.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 8-12 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on testing architecture and framework design.- Proficiency in Python is a plus, enabling scripting and automation for testing purposes.- Strong understanding of API management principles, including design, documentation, and schema validation using OAS.- Extensive knowledge of database technologies such as MongoDB, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, etc. , for testing and validation purposes.- Experience with DevOps practices for deploying and managing infrastructure in OpenShift and AWS environments.- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) with hands-on experience in managing AWS infrastructure using Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.- Familiarity with AWS IAM, ACL, RBAC policies, and security best practices for managing access control and permissions.- Experience with service virtualization tools such as Parasoft is a plus, enabling efficient testing in complex environments.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
