Description:

Summary : - This role is for a skilled IT professional responsible for managing and maintaining Kubernetes deployments.- You will ensure the smooth operation, high availability, and scalability of containerized applications running on Kubernetes clusters.Responsibilities :- Design, install, configure, and secure Kubernetes clusters - Manage and optimize Kubernetes resources (pods, deployments, services) - Implement storage solutions for containerized applications (e.g. persistent volumes) - Configure and manage container networking within the Kubernetes cluster - Monitor the health and performance of the Kubernetes cluster and applications .- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes deployments and integrations - Automate routine tasks using scripting tools (e.g. Bash, Python) - Stay up-to-date on the latest Kubernetes features and best practices - Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments - May document procedures and provide support to other IT staff Requirements :- Strong understanding of Linux administration and system configuration - Experience with container orchestration technologies, preferably Kubernetes - Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS) - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) (a plus) - Scripting experience (Bash, Python) - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills Desired Skills (plusses) :- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification - Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible) - Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana) - Experience with CI/CD pipelines for deploying containerized applications (ref:hirist.tech)
